Important upcoming dates:

Dear CHA Community,

Partnerships that have the greatest value are those that focus on supporting one another.  We function in a synergistic fashion, remaining positive through both successes and challenges as we are tested.  Through these challenges, we grow stronger.  Our community of partnership at CHA benefits every community member and truly represents how we embrace a Win-Win approach to a trying situation such as our recent snow days.  I’m humbled by your support throughout these past two weeks; although not surprised given your continued support in the past.  On behalf of the faculty and myself, thank you.

Re-enrollment Contracts – With a little expeditious use of Jupiter’s texting capabilities, we have had a good number of these turned in before the deadline, which is 4 p.m. today. A huge thank you to those of you who turned them in on time and minimized the amount of admin work required to chase down the remainder!

Awards of Excellence - At Chestnut Hill Academy, we recognize the talents of dedicated, creative, and hardworking people who care passionately about children, families, and each other. The Bright Horizons Awards of Excellence is our signature recognition program, acknowledging those who inspire us with their exceptional efforts and make the school the best it can be. Now is your chance to recognize those who impress, support, and care for you with their consistent excellence. To start nominating, please visit the link below before Monday, March 1st. We appreciate your time and effort in recognizing those who you feel are deserving of special acknowledgement. Thank you for your participation in this important recognition program

Lunar New Year –Thank you for helping us celebrate Lunar New Year on Friday! We appreciate your support for bringing this cultural experience to the CHA community and hope everyone enjoyed the new format of celebration this year. We would like to thank the following parents who helped to organize the celebration this year. The event wouldn’t have been possible without their hard work, creativity, and dedication.

Student Presentation: Thanks to Wei Gao for helping the 4th and 5th graders put together such an informative and fun presentation!

Happy New Year Song: Thanks to Shan (Emily) Han for designing the performance, making the instructional video and background music, and instructing the kids during practices. You were an amazing teacher! Thanks to Qiuyin Ling and Mandy Chen for reaching out to K-2 parents and coordinating the rehearsals.

New Year Dance: Thanks to Shirley Du for choreographing the dance, getting the costumes, and tirelessly instructing the kids during their rehearsals. And many thanks for helping decorate the school, too!

Lion Dance: Special thanks to Katisha Eng and Dennis Eng for bringing the amazing lion dance to CHA! The team did a fantastic job engaging the audience and the kids were so excited!
