Having spent most of the week in Florida attending the Bright Horizons Regional Manager Conference and reflecting about Intentional Leadership it’s great to return and begin to focus on the continuation of putting it into practice. While looking at how we grow, inspire, empower and take charge the perspective of looking at the “Why” we do something versus the “What” and “How” will help continue to support how we build and sustain our culture of learning. It is with great excitement that I spend time with you at Family Math Night this evening and look forward to great conversations entering into next week.
Family Math Night
We are looking forward to spending the evening with you tonight. A delicious taco bar dinner will be served in the café from 5:15 – 6:15 pm. The gym doors will open at 6:00 for Family Math Games, there will be a coffee cart by the MPR from 6:00 till 7:30, and Tricia Salerno will be hosting a parent math class in the 2nd Floor gallery from 6:15 – 7:15 pm.
Thank you for helping promote our Open House, attendance was the best yet with 40 families present. We are very grateful for the student and parent reps who gave up their Saturday morning to lead tours – you really are the best advert for our school!
The All-School Spelling Bee will be held on Friday, 2/2 starting at 2:00 in the gym. Parents of participants are cordially invited to join us. The winner and runner up will be announced in next Friday’s Campus Updates.
CHAPTER Gala Auction – March 10th
The PTA’s main fundraiser of the year is just weeks away. I would like to give a big shout out to this year’s CAHPTER Auction Chair, Sukriti Singhal and her team who are working hard to prepare this year’s Gala. It’s not too late to sign up for what promises to be a wonderful evening - http://chapter.maestroweb.com/. Please send any questions you may have to Sukriti at firstname.lastname@example.org
