Spirit Week is almost upon us! Next week we’ll be enjoying a delicious and delightful menu planned by none other than fourth grader Annika Wanagel-Rojas, and Student Council, in addition to planning some great theme days, has another surprise treat in store as well. We are excited for a wonderful week and a fun celebration of this fantastic school year, and we look forward to seeing some creative outfits.
- Tuesday - Sports Day! Show some spirit for your favorite team, or sport your own uniform!
- Wednesday - Wacky Wednesday! Opposites, mismatch, inside out, and backwards. How many crazy patterns and prints can you put together? How wild can your hair-do get? Time to get creative!
- Thursday - Throwback Thursday! Take a blast through the past with us, and showcase the fashion from a different generation! 80s dance party, anyone?
- Friday - Disney Day! Calling all Jedi, fairytale heroes, and even famous villains … . Today you are invited to dress up Disney style!
Please remember that for Theme Days and Free Dress Days, school dress code guidelines should still be followed for appropriate footwear (i.e. no flip-flops or cleats), length of skirts and shorts, etc. We request that masks or any costumes that are violent/scary in nature be left at home.

WALK ON - The Bright Horizons Walk On will take place on Saturday, June 10th at 10:00 at Magnuson Park. I hope you’ll consider joining us on this day for a great cause. T-Shirt order forms will be sent out soon. The Walk On supports and maintains our Bright Horizons Bright Spaces and Foundation. To date, CHA has created 4 Bright Spaces that we continue to support through a variety of ways including sustaining a partnership with each space we’ve opened, an All Star Team that checks in with the space and spruces up the décor and work we’ve done previously to ensure the space is a positive place for teens, children, and their parents to spend time in. Walk On Feet are for sale at the front desk for $1/foot! We’d love to write your name, your child’s name or a family members name on a foot or two and proudly display it in the lobby. Our goal is to raise $500 for the Walk On. You can donate here if you would like to - http://seattle.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=1172753 Thank you for your support!
